Ollie Coaches are therapeutically trained and work with children, young people and adults who already have challenges that they need help to overcome. The unique thing about the Ollie approach is it works just as effectively as a preventative and educative tool before day to day issues cause those very problems that end up in someone sat in front of a therapist.
Based on the Ollie stories, and the model that Alison Knowles has created from her work with children, we have developed a dynamic and unique approach to working with children and young people that is making a dramatic difference to children and young adults emotional resilience, wellbeing and mental health.
" Learning the Ollie Model, it was an incredible journey with incredible people helping us on the way. ... beginning of a dream that I can help people on daily basis by empowering big and little minds to manage their emotions“ ETB 2021
Our coaches are working with children and young people and Adults across the UK in one to one sessions, in groups and in our Ollie kids programme. We use outcome measures to assess the effectiveness of this brief psychological intervention and more and more children, young people, parents and professionals are beginning to see what a difference this powerful approach can make to the challenges children and young people face in their lives.

A Unique and Dynamic Approach
The Ollie model draws on the best of a range of therapeutic techniques including NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), Positive Psychology, evolutionary psychology, story and metaphor therapy, hypnotherapy, modern psychotherapy and brief therapy. Above all, the model has been developed from what works effectively in practice and we are developing more and more dynamic aspects to this model all the time. The true gift that we teach our coaches is how to harness the imagination and resources of the client because we believe every child, young person and adult faces difficulties because they are standing in their own way and at the same time they have everything they ned to navigate their way through the challenges they are facing however complex. So we don’t just enable a client to deal with their current challenges, we enable them to learn to do this for any future challenges as well. That is why the Ollie model is becoming more and more popular as an approach to resilience and wellbeing that can work across organisations for children, young people and adults.
"Profound and powerful application of NLP" Robert Dilts (Co-Founder of NLP University & Recipient of the 2018 NLP Award for Lifetime Contribution)
So if you are looking for a dynamic approach that mobilises the resources of the client to facilitate change and what you’ve read so far excites you, we’re so glad you’ve found us.
The Ollie Coaching Programme
The programme is 12 days run over 6 months which is a mixture of online learning and classroom days. With all the additional learning you will undertake through self-study and practice there are in we estimate about 350 hours total study time including 80 guided learning hours. These include course videos, webinar content on topics like safeguarding, attachment theory and the stages of child and adolescent development. We also have a marketing specialist in the team who helps to support you in building a business if that’s what you choose to do.
I also love Ali’s presentation style and also the input and involvement the other Ollie coaches have. It feels very natural and I have connected with all the people I had a one on one working sessions with. LP Jan 2022
The Ollie Model is highly interactive, experiential and is based on some of the most up to date theory on what really works in practice. Our approach with children and adults is that change can be fun, playful and engaging. We aim to normalise and de-stigmatise any problem a client faces. It’s not about them as a person, it’s a learnt negative pattern that can be just as easily unlearned with the right approach that suits that particular client.
Ollie Course Review - Marni Bosanquet, November 2020
I'm a mum of two small children and have given up work to look after them. When asked by my partner what I wanted to do once I felt ready to return to the world of work, I blurted out that what I really wanted to do was self-love workshops where I'd go into schools and help children and teenagers work on their self-belief, giving them tools to help improve their emotional resilience so that they could strive to be the best they could possibly be without having limiting beliefs holding them back.I lacked a huge amount of self belief growing up and have not done so many things that I wanted to do because I didn't believe I could. I wouldn't want that for my children or for any others. As soon as I had spoken out loud what I really wanted it was as if the course found me! The day I saw the advert for Ollie and His Superpowers I knew I had to be on it and that it was the course for me. The excitement that I felt was indescribable and I knew in my heart what was indisputable, that I needed to enroll straight away. It felt as if I had finally connected to my purpose in life.
Apart from gaining a qualification to help 5 to 105s overcome the obstacles that they imagine to be in their way and to breakthrough their limiting beliefs in order to reach for the stars, I was also gaining a family where I immediately felt I belonged. This course has connected me to the most fantastic like-minded people and I have already made some lifelong friends. The course tutors are fantastic and support you every step of the way. They are there whenever you need them and showed huge support and commitment during both Lockdowns by setting up regular webinars and zoom meetings for all the Ollie Coaches to help us continue to feel connected and to keep us on track with our learning despite life being put on hold! Ali's chillax sessions also helped everyone get through some very difficult and emotional times!
I can't recommend this course more highly. The work Ali does is inspirational and I am so thrilled to be part of the team. I've learnt so much and already have some invaluable techniques to help support the wellbeing of my own children as well as having a huge amount of laughs along the way!

Ollie Course Review - Christine Elford 2021
I have completed a vast array of training as a teacher and foster carer, including specialist training for “Every Child a Reader”, THRIVE, PACE and Therapeutic Parenting. This training has dealt with everything from Foetal Alcohol Syndrome and Attachment Disorder to Drug Awareness and Life Story work. Although these were helpful in my role of supporting children, they did not engage directly with the child and give the child the skills to help themselves now, and in the future. When I discovered Ali Knowles and Ollie and his Superpowers, I knew it was the very thing that had been missing.
It does not matter what your background is - find out more about Ollie and his Superpowers - amazing!
