Meet the Ollie Coach

Introducing Julie Fowler

Julie is an emotional health and wellbeing coach, passionate about supporting children, young people and adults to understand and manage their emotions effectively, helping them find the superpowers within themselves to improve their wellbeing and mental health.

Throughout her life, she has worked in many different settings such as alcohol detox centres and hostels for people experiencing homelessness, coming alongside people going through numerous challenges including addiction, poverty and mental ill health. Her work has also involved supporting people and their families affected by HIV.

Julie has also spent time overseas, supporting children of all ages living on the streets of Romania and Brazil as well as being involved with a charity in China running a hospice for abandoned babies who have terminal or life limiting illnesses.

Julie has a big heart full of compassion and empathy for people, always being there to listen. She does not like injustice and throughout her life has advocated on behalf of people who do not have a voice, many of whom have been marginalised and discriminated against.

Currently, she volunteers for a bereavement charity, supporting people with their journey through grief, including when they have been bereaved by suicide, a traumatic event, a sudden death or the death of a young child.

Julie lives with her husband in Hampshire and together, they were very blessed to adopt their beautiful daughter from China when she was young – now grown up and studying away from home, they know their daughter is a wonderful gift who brings them so much joy.

Julie enjoys running, having fun and coupled with her spirit of adventure, loves doing crazy things like sliding down one of the longest zipwires in the world, wing-walking on a vintage plane, sky diving as well as walking over the top of the Millennium Dome in London and around the top of the very tall CN Tower in Canada to name but a few.

She believes we all experience different challenges and difficulties throughout life regardless of our background or circumstances but knows we also all have the resources we need within ourselves, our superpowers, to understand and manage how we respond to any situation.

Julie looks forward to the opportunity and privilege of helping you with your own unique and individual journey, supporting you to tap into your own superpowers and to see you thrive and grow.
